FAQ

Questions, answered.

Straight answers on pricing, process, CGI and delivery — so you can scope a six-figure production with confidence.

Projects generally run from $20,000 for a focused single-shoot film to $300,000+ for a full launch system with CGI. The driver is scope — locations, crew days, and how much animation the story needs. We scope transparently before you commit.

Yes. Our crews are briefed to your site safety rules and experienced working around live machinery, energised equipment and restricted areas. Safety and access planning are part of pre-production.

Yes. We are a worldwide studio and travel to industrial sites globally. We scope access and scheduling with your operations team before any shoot.

Yes — that is where 3D product visualization and CGI are strongest. We build your product accurately from CAD and show it from any angle, exploded or animated, before a physical unit exists.

An explainer focuses on why a product matters to a buyer; process animation focuses on how a specific system mechanically works. Many projects use process animation as the technical core of a wider explainer.

We build from your engineering data and review the sequence with your experts before final animation. With technical buyers, accuracy is the entire value — a wrong detail destroys credibility.

Yes, and it should. We plan every shoot for cutdowns so one budget produces a hero film plus the cuts your sales, investor and marketing teams use for a year.

industrial.film delivers full-cycle production in-house — film, 3D, VFX and animation under one roof, with a track record on work for global brands.

Most projects run four to ten weeks from kickoff to final delivery, depending on scope. On-site film with light editing is faster; full CGI and process animation take longer because the build and review stages are where accuracy is earned. We agree a schedule with named milestones before work starts.

We deliver up to 4K (and higher for trade-show and large-format screens), plus the cutdowns you actually use — shorter edits, square and vertical versions for social, captioned variants and stills pulled from the film. One shoot, many usable outputs.

Each project includes defined review stages — typically script, a first cut or animatic, and a final cut — with revision rounds named in the scope so nothing is open-ended. Building from your engineering data up front keeps late changes rare.

You receive full usage rights to the delivered masters for the uses agreed in the scope. We keep the right to show the work in our portfolio unless the project is under NDA, in which case it stays confidential.

Yes — this is routine for industrial and aerospace work. We sign your NDA, handle footage and data securely, and keep confidential projects out of any public showcase.

Yes. We regularly combine your CAD models, archival footage and brand guidelines with new capture and CGI, so the final film is accurate, on-brand and makes the most of what you already have.

Yes. Pre-production includes scripting and storyboarding, and delivery can include professional voiceover, licensed music and multilingual subtitles — useful when one film has to work for buyers, investors and partners in different markets.
